KPN Pharma Sole Co, Ltd was previously named Vientiane Development KPN Drug Production Factory which it was established in 1992 in Thatluang Tai Village, Sisangvone Road, Xaysettha District, Vientiane Capital, 100% Private Investment that it was permitted to produce medicine (pills, tablets, capsule and liquid type). Until 1997, the factory was expanded its business by which it set up KBD Import-Export Company for Raw Materials, Components, Packaging, Medicine, Medicine Production Machinery, Tools and Medicine Equipment.
Until 2003, Lao side expanded it business by setting up another Pharma Company, named: KPN Sole Co., Ltd, which it was permitted to produce medicine (pills, tablets, capsule and liquid type). To import-export medicine chemical, medicine products, tools and medicine equipment.
Until 2006, the company was expanded its business by setting up another Modern and International Standard Pharma KPN Factory in Unit 12, Xiengda Village, Dongkhamxang Road, Xaysettha District, Vientiane Capital and it was completed its construction in the middle of 2006; it then has been installed machinery and equipment and started into production test since September 26, 2006 with 7 copyright products, until March 15, 2007, the factory has been had official production. After that the company has continued to improve its system continuously in order to meet its GMP Standards.
Until 2009, the company made a decision to bring ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems to control and apply for its Quality Management System and the Company Management. Up to October 16, 2009, the Company was accepted its quality and safety for consumers (ISO 9001:2008) from UKAS, England which it is the international quality system approval unit ISO 9001:2008 & GMP, we then are inspected and follow up the product quality and safety for each 6 months.
